A Bit About Tracey Von Schmittou
My Background
I have worked in law since I was 16 years old. I raised three children, mostly as a single mother, as I worked as a secretary and then a paralegal, while attending college at night for eight years. I completed my undergrad at Barry University and then attended the MBA program at Nova Southeastern University, where I studied Conflict Resolution. I have been through divorce and custody litigation myself. I know how devastating that can be, emotionally and financially. I truly believe I can help a lot of people to work out whatever family law issues they may have without the necessity of court intervention while preserving relationships, assets, and psychological well being of children, if applicable. I currently volunteer as a Guardian Ad Litem in Lee County, FL.

I will come to your mediation with my lap top to assist in preparing Marital Settlement Agreements, Parenting Plans, Child Support Guidelines Worksheets and proposed Final Judgments during the mediation, so your support staff may focus on other clients during this time. I can also provide Notary services.
